Effective Date: September 29, 2026
This Warranty Policy sets out the warranty coverage and after-sales service conditions applicable to phones, laptops, electronic products, gadgets, and other eligible products purchased from Jay-247 Gadgets Hub Limited (“Jay-247 Gadgets,” “Jay247 Gadgets,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Warranty coverage may vary depending on the product, manufacturer, model, and applicable warranty period.
1. WARRANTY COVERAGE
Eligible phones, laptops, and electronic products purchased from Jay-247 Gadgets may be covered under either:
- DOA – Dead on Arrival Warranty
- DAP – Defect After Purchase Warranty
All warranty claims are subject to inspection, fault verification, and the applicable terms contained in this policy.
2. DOA – DEAD ON ARRIVAL WARRANTY
DOA applies where an eligible product is found to have a qualifying fault immediately after purchase or during its initial use.
DOA Conditions
To qualify for DOA warranty service:
- The issue must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the product.
- The product must be presented for inspection and fault verification.
- The reported fault must be confirmed by our qualified engineers or authorized service personnel.
- The product must not have been damaged, modified, opened, or tampered with by the customer.
DOA Replacement
Where a product is confirmed to be DOA and satisfies all applicable conditions, it may qualify for replacement within 7 days of delivery.
Replacement is subject to:
- Successful fault verification
- Product availability
- Applicable manufacturer procedures
- Compliance with this Warranty Policy
A customer should not attempt to repair, open, disassemble, or modify a suspected DOA product before contacting Jay-247 Gadgets.
3. DAP – DEFECT AFTER PURCHASE WARRANTY
DAP covers qualifying manufacturing defects that occur after the initial purchase and use of the product.
The applicable DAP warranty period is generally:
- 1 year, or
- 2 years in some cases, depending on the product and applicable manufacturer warranty.
The applicable warranty period may be stated on the product documentation, invoice, warranty documentation, or communicated to the customer at the time of purchase.
4. DAP WARRANTY SERVICE
DAP warranty claims are handled through the applicable authorized service center or approved technical service channel.
DAP warranty service is repair-based.
Where a qualifying manufacturing defect is confirmed:
- The product will be submitted for repair.
- Defective components may be repaired or replaced where appropriate.
- The repair will be carried out according to the applicable manufacturer or service-center procedures.
DAP warranty claims are repair-based and do not automatically qualify for product replacement or refund.
5. FAULT ASSESSMENT PROCESS
All reported warranty issues must first undergo technical assessment.
The process may include:
- The customer reports the fault to Jay-247 Gadgets.
- The product is submitted or returned for assessment as instructed.
- Our qualified engineers or an authorized service center examines the product.
- The reported fault is tested and verified.
- The appropriate warranty category is determined.
- Where the fault qualifies, the applicable warranty service is initiated.
Warranty action will only be taken after the reported fault has been properly verified.
A customer’s description of a problem does not, by itself, establish that the product qualifies for warranty service.
6. WARRANTY SERVICE TURNAROUND TIME
Jay-247 Gadgets aims to process warranty cases as efficiently as reasonably possible.
DOA Replacement
Confirmed DOA replacement cases should generally be processed within 14 working days at the applicable service or processing center.
